The Big Island The Big Island is the southern most island in the Hawaiian Island chain and offers some spectacular diving. One of the most famous dives is the Manta Ray Night Dive. Divers can experience the majesty and grace of huge Manta rays dancing and gliding through the water while feeding on plankton attracted by lights. It's an exceptional dive!
Since most of the island is lava rock, there is not much run off from agriculture. The waters around the big island remain crystal clear most of the year. The Big Island also offers some great "above water" activites as well.
