Island of Kauai
[Photo: Napalu Coast of Kauai] Kauai is a beautiful and enchanting island - from the lush greenery of Hanalei, to the rugged "Grand Canyan of the Pacific", the Waimea Canyan. And even in your wildest imagination, you could not dream up a place more beautiful than The Na Pali coast. Kauai is the oldest island in the Hawaiian Island chain. Time, wind and rain have carved out the coastline into jagged, red and green, craggy pinnacles, rising from the blue waters of the ocean. It is truly something to behold.

After Hurricane Iniki in 1992, Kauai's residents rebuilt and the island is once again a main tourist attraction. We are in the process of updating our Activity Index for Kauai. Of course, that means we have to fly to Kauai and participate in all of these activities (it's rough job, but someone has to do it). We'll be adding more of what we believe are the exceptional activities very soon. Just the facts...: 23' Zodiacs with twin Mercury 70/80 horsepower engines take10 - 16 passengers per trip on daily tours. Check in at Captain Zodiac office, Hanalei.
Captain Zodiac, Kauai's Na Pali Coast Rafting Expedition, will take you on the experience of a lifetime! You'll be amazed at the natural beauty of the Na Pali Coastline. The striking sea cliffs, rushing waterfalls, and fascinating sea caves make these tours a real adventure. The coastline is home to dolphins, sea turtles and other marine life and Captain Zodiac's USCG certified Captains will share the history and legends of this place along the way. Snorkel, swim and picnic the Na Pali Coastline and don't forget to bring your camera!
Three excursions to choose from: All excursions include snorkel gear and beverages.
MORNING EXCURSION: Total Excursion Time: 4 hours. (Check-in: 8:45AM)

DAY EXCURSION: Total Excursion Time: 5 hours. Includes plenty of time to snorkel, hike and have lunch (included) on the beach. (Check-in:9:45AM)

AFTERNOON EXCURSION: Total Excursion Time: 3 hours. (Check-in: 1:15PM)

During the months of May through September, Sunrise and Sunset excursions, and backpacker/hiker drop off and transportation service is offered. NOTE: Entry into sea caves, swimming and snorkeling are all dependent ocean conditions. Pregnant women and people with back or neck problems are not allowed on these trips.

Kauai Sea Tours

Just the facts...
24' Rigid Hull Rafts (R. I. B.) take 15 passengers and 30ft. Hawaiian built Power Catamarans take 18 passengers per trip on daily tours. Picnic Raft Adventure and Mini tour check-in at Hanalei Sea Tours desk at Anchor Cove Shopping Center. Tours depart from Nawiliwili Harbor. Nualolo Kai Day Tour and Half Day Na Pali Coast Tour check-in at Hanalei Sea Tours office at Port Allen.
Four tours to choose from:
PICNIC & SNORKEL RAFT ADVENTURE: Departs10:00AM. A rafting tour along Kauai's inaccessible Kipu and Mahalepu coastline from Nawiliwili. Passengers may encounter Green Sea turtles, Spinner dolphins, sea birds and humpback whales (Dec. through April). Tour features a beach picnic lunch. Tour time: 4 hours.
MINI COASTAL & BEACH TOUR: Departs 2:30PM. A NON-SNORKELING raft tour along the Kipu Kai Coast. Perfect for photographers and sightseers. Passengers may encounter Green Sea turtles, Spinner dolphins, and sea birds. Tour time: 2 hours.
Catamaran Tours of the Na Pali Coast
NUALOLO KAI DAY TOUR: Departs 7:30AM. Snorkel the Na Pali Coast! Tour features a beach landing at Nualolo Kai, a fully narrated hike to ancient fishing village, snorkeling and a beach picnic lunch. Tour time: 5.5 hours.
HALF DAY NA PALI COAST TOUR: Departs1:30PM. A snorkeling adventure along the majestic Na Pali coastline. Tour features a full deli lunch. Tour time: 4.5 hours.
Notes: Tours may vary due to ocean and weather conditions. Tours are not recommended for pregnant women, those with back or neck problems or children five and under.
