Molokini Crater
Molokini Crater is a half submerged extinct volcanic crater located near South Maui. It has become one of Maui's most featured snorkel and dive attractions. The sheltered lagoon within the crater, with its warm waters and coral reefs is home to a wide variety of marine life. Most charters depart Maalea Harbor early in the morning to avoid the strong afternoon tradewinds on the way back. Snorkel trips to Molokini are a fun and exciting adventure day trip for the whole family and most are all inclusive providing continental breakfasts and BBQ or deli-style lunches. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the scenery and crystal clear warm waters.
