Diving Lanai & Molokai
[Photo: Ray] The island of Lanai is located approximately nine nautical miles east of Maui. The diving off the coast of Lanai has always been pristine and offers some exciting lava formation dives. The reefs around Lanai abound with marine life and coral. Passengers on snorkel and dive boats headed to Lanai, usually encounter Spinner Dolphins frolicking in the warm waters.

Dive charters to Lanai are offered daily and include tanks and weights as well as snacks and beverages. Dive boats depart Mala Wharf and Lahaina Harbor starting at around 6:00am. Depending on the trip you choose, expect to return around noon to 3:00pm. Dive sites are chosen by the Captain and crew (depending on weather conditions) and diver's requests. Lanai has some spectacular dive sites including Cathedrals, Monolyth, and Barge Harbor (one of our favorite dives). It's a great day with great diving - don't miss it!

Diving off the coast of Molokai is a very special experience. Two tank dives to Molokai are available, but only when the ocean and weather conditions are perfect. If you do happen to be on the boat on that perfect day, you can expect anything from hammerhead sharks to manta rays and dolphins!
